LABOR LAW

Our firm represents labor unions, associations and employees in various matters before the courts and administrative agencies of New Jersey.   Our experience includes representation before the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC), Civil Service Commission (CSC), State Board of Mediation, Division of Pensions and Benefits and other agencies and the courts of the State of New Jersey.

We regularly represent labor unions in collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitration matters, disciplinary hearings and appeals, unfair practice charges, promotion appeals, list removal appeals and other civil service matters and appeals, as well as pension matters and appeals.

CONSUMER, BUSINESS LITIGATION & TRANSACTIONS

Our firm provides advice, counseling and representation in transactions and disputes between businesses, as well as disputes between consumers and business, including contracts, lease agreements, collections, foreclosures, landlord-tenant matters and insurance matters.

WILLS

We can assist clients with the preparation of a Last Will and Testament, Living Will or Power of Attorney.

PENSION & APPEALS

Our firm represents labor unions and employees in matters before the Division of Pensions and Benefits.  We represent employees through the pension process, including counseling, applications for Service Retirement, Ordinary Disability Retirement, Accidental Disability Retirement, as well as appeals concerning denied applications, Honorable Service issues and appeals, Return to Public Employment issues and appeals, service credit issues and appeals and other related matters.  We appear before the Board of Trustees of the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS), the Police and Fireman’s Retirement System (PFRS), the Teachers Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) and the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) in pension matters.

EMPLOYMENT LAW

Our firm provides representation in a wide array of employment matters, including counseling, employment agreements, severance agreements, non-compete agreements, negotiations and litigation.   We handle matters before the courts and administrative agencies concerning the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (Whistleblower), the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (LAD), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Leave matters (FMLA and FLA), military leave and discrimination (USERRA) and related matters.

MUNICIPAL COURT

Our attorneys handle matters before the municipal courts of New Jersey, including traffic tickets, license suspensions, disorderly persons offenses and related matters.
