About Lynsey A. Stehling
Lynsey A. Stehling has practiced labor and employment law in New Jersey since her admission to the bar in 2004. She is admitted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Her practice includes public-sector labor matters, where the governing rules differ from those of private employment: civil service classification and protection, collective bargaining obligations, and the administrative procedure that goes with them.
Ms. Stehling appeared for the Probation Association of New Jersey in the reallocation of the probation officer titles from the competitive to the noncompetitive division of the career service, a dispute the Appellate Division decided in a published opinion, In re Reallocation of the Probation Officer and Probation Officer, Bilingual in Spanish and English, Titles, 441 N.J. Super. 434 (App. Div. 2015).
